Tugs-oyun Sodnom (b. 1954, Ulaanbaatar) is among the senior generation of Mongolian modern painters and one of the country's most decorated women artists. She graduated from the Fine Art College in Ulaanbaatar in 1974 and the Surikov Institute of Fine Art in Moscow in 1980.
She has exhibited internationally since the 1970s — in Bulgaria, Japan, Russia, Germany, India and the United States — and has designed or illustrated more than a hundred books. She is a recipient of Mongolia's “Pole Star,” the state's highest honour for artists.
