Baidy Tseveg (b. 1943, Dundgobi) is among the senior generation of Mongolian realist painters. He trained at the Stroganoff Institute of Industrial and Fine Art in Moscow, graduating in 1974.
His landscapes turn to the Mongolian countryside — the lake at Avarga Toson, the winter slopes of Songino mountain — painted with a quiet, weathered attention to place and season.
